The Tembe Elephant National Park & Lodge offers both local and international guests a rare combination of the magnificence of a national game Park (administered by KwaZulu-Natal Nature Conservation Services) coupled with the personal touch and 'creature comforts' of a privately managed bush lodge. 

The lodge comprises luxury en-suite safari tents, built on raised wooden platforms, and blend unobtrusively with their natural surrounds - and are tucked away in secluded areas around the camp.	Each unit is furnished with a queen-sized bed and a single bed. Extra beds for small children can be arranged. A thatch-sheltered splash pool and open-air braai area lends itself to a rustic ambience and guests can enjoy campfire meals and the unforgettable experience of Africa under the stars.
Our luxury en-suite units are particularly lovely as each one has the comfort of a charming en-suite bathroom. These bathrooms have the added attraction of a glass-walled shower, which looks out into the dense surrounding sand forest.	The lodge offers fully inclusive tariffs, and rates include: Accommodation, three delicious meals, teas, coffee and light refreshments. Daytime and evening game drives are conducted on open 4x4 vehicles by an experienced guide and are included at no extra cost.
